Homework
We firmly believe that practice makes permanent and consistency is king. Depending on the subject, we may assign homework that focuses on your specific areas of weakness. We understand how hectic your schedule can be, but it is very important for you to prioritize the homework we give and complete it thoughtfully. Scribbling down answers 5 minutes before class defeats the purpose and is counterproductive. If you absolutely cannot complete a homework assignment in time, please inform your tutor as soon as possible, so he or she may be able to adjust your lesson agenda accordingly.
Payment Method and Structure
We accept Zelle (preferred), PayPal, and checks. Checks should be made payable to “Prep with Jen LLC.” The payment for single sessions is due by the beginning of each lesson. For packages, the full payment is due by the first lesson in the package. Our tuition rates for the current school year are listed below.

You are responsible for the texts we use in class. For a list of required and recommended texts by subject area, please visit our resources page.
Refund
There are no refunds for single sessions. For packages and group classes, you have 3 calendar days (including Saturday and Sunday) to cancel after the first session in the package. If you cancel, the first lesson will be charged at the single session rate. You will receive a full refund minus the cost of the first lesson. The class package is non-refundable after the cancellation window of 3 calendar days after the first lesson.
Rescheduling/Cancellations
If you need to reschedule a class, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the lesson will be counted and deducted from your package. In cases of emergencies (e.g., sudden illness), please alert your tutor as soon as possible. This policy is here to ensure we make every effort to stay on top of our schedules.
No-shows
A “no-show” counts as a lesson. If you miss a scheduled lesson without sufficient notice, then you forgo one hour or the length of your scheduled class, whichever is longer, from the package you purchased. We reserve the right to decline working with students with a pattern of no-shows.
